Collecting Items for Crisis Care Kits
We are once again collecting items to complete crisis care kits for Nazarene Global Relief. The kits which we assemble will be dispersed throughout the world wherever there are natural disasters that the Church can respond to. Please consider what you may be able to contribute to help us put these vital resources together. What we are able to give is very specific as the shipment can be rejected if the items are not uniform. Please be advised, that the items must be exactly as defined on the list. All the items must be able to fit into a 2 gallon ziploc bag to make the CCK. The list of items we need for each CCK, Crisis Care Kit, is as follows:
- 1 medium size bottle of shampoo (12-18 oz)
- 2 bars soap (bath size or larger)
- 1 medium toothpaste (4.0 -6.4 oz)
- 3 toothbrushes (in original packaging)
- 1 box of Band-aids (30 or more)
- 1 fingernail clipper
- 1 sturdy hair comb
- 2 hand towels
- 4 pocket size packages of facial tissue
- 1 Beanie Baby size stuffed toy
You can drop of the items you collect at the Church during the day, (call ahead to make sure someone is there) or when you come to Church Sunday Morning.
